Psychology research labs and clubs fair

This event is an opportunity for students to learn about the different research labs in the Psychology Department. Professors and lab managers will be explaining the type of research that is conducted and the specific areas of focus. This psych talk is a must for students that wants a hands-on approach to learning or want to gain new experience in a lab.

Dr. Sarah Haag

Dr. Haag was Co-coordinator of counseling masters program and is a licensed psychologist. Her work with counseling students helps to prepare them for a helping career. Dr. Haag also brings her experience as a practitioner and well-rounded understanding of research to the classroom further strengthening the quality of education in the program.

Dr. Smith will be visiting us from Sonoma State University. Her work focuses on organizational justice and how people change their definitions of fairness and their reactions to disadvantages or conflict when they identify themselves as members of different groups.

Dr. Gregg Gold

Dr. Gold's research interests are in primarily in social influence, though he also published in other areas. He studies under how power affects influence, how people react to transgressions, what it takes for people to stay together after a transgression, and how various situations affect the use of power and influence.
